What’s Going On:
Contagious disease outbreaks are named after their place of origin. There are myriad examples – Lyme Disease, Ebola, Zika, or Marburg virus, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and so on.
Tradition changed with “COVID-19”, an acronym indicating that this was a coronavirus disease beginning in 2019. Naming this virus after its source location, such as the Chinese Coronavirus or Wuhan Flu is now considered racist, xenophobic, white supremacist, or any other novel woke-ism adjective. Perhaps a new name for COVID virus is in order.
The past weeks have rubbed some of the glitter off Fabulous Fauci, the god of all things COVID. Dr Anthony Fauci has been the face of America’s COVID response, the all-knowing, all-powerful savior of civilization. For the past year, he has graced magazine covers, was nominated as one of the sexiest men alive, and has been a fixture at then President Trump’s daily press briefings and cable news shows.
Lately, he is not looking so fabulous, with other adjectives coming to mind such as incompetent, corrupt, conniving, and dishonest. As a trove of his email correspondence recently surfaced, COVID could be renamed as the “Fauci Flu.”
I wonder if Dr Fauci anticipated this reversal of fortune, his fall from high atop Mount Establishment? His upcoming book, “Expect the Unexpected” may be more prescient than he realized when writing the book. Did he expect an eventual reckoning over his flip-flops and deceptions?
The remainder of the book title, “Ten Lessons on Truth, Service, and the Way Forward” is also ironic. We are learning that COVID “truth” can shift as easily as mask mandates. Who did Dr Fauci “service”? The American people, vaccine makers, the Chinese government, or his book publisher? What was his “way forward”? Locking down the country for more than a year, masking everyone, moving forward from “15 days to flatten the curve” to “15 months to flatten America”?
A trove of Dr Fauci’s old emails has been released under a Freedom of Information request. Did Dr Fauci “expect the unexpected” as in this turn of events? What have we learned in just a few days of investigation regarding the Fauci Flu? Zero Hedge provides a quick summary.
Start with an email from Peter Daszak, President of EcoHealth Alliance, the group alleged to be funding gain of function research at the Wuhan virology lab, which was in turn funded by the NIH under Dr Fauci’s directives.
The original cover story was that the coronavirus emerged naturally from a Chinese wet market. Dr Fauci played ball and pushed the animal origin explanation rather than a lab leak, inadvertent or intentional, as the point of origin. Daszak thanked Dr Fauci in an email,
I just wanted to say a personal thank you on behalf of our staff and collaborators, for publicly standing up and stating that the scientific evidence supports a natural origin for COVID-19 from a bat-to-human spillover, not a lab release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Daszak admitted to manipulating coronaviruses, as in gain of function research. This is the same manipulation that Dr Fauci adamantly denied to Senator Rand Paul at a recent Senate hearing. Fauci may not have personally written a check to the Wuhan lab, but his agency gave money to an organization that in turn wrote the check.
Dr Fauci was just parsing words, in the mold of Bill Clinton arguing over what the meaning of “is” is.
A researcher at the Scripps Research Institute emailed Dr Fauci in January 2020, when few had any inkling of what was ahead, acknowledging of this novel virus that “some of the features (potentially) look engineered.”
Fauci knew and said nothing, allowing Democrats and the media to label the laboratory origin of the virus as kooky “conspiracy theory” from President Trump and his supporters, undermining his every pronouncement regarding the pandemic. If lab origin was nonsense, by that logic so was hydroxychloroquine and other therapeutics, potential vaccines, and anything else Trump said or did.
Speaking of hydroxy, a physicist sent Dr Fauci an email in March 2020 recommending this as a potential therapeutic. Fauci didn’t answer him and instead poo-pooed Trump’s suggestion of hydroxy as potentially useful, staying mum as cranks like Fox News’s Neal Cavuto warned that this 60-year-old drug was lethal.
Perhaps Dr Fauci was too busy emailing back and forth with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, collaborating on a social media
propaganda public health campaign which turned into censorship and deplatforming for any dissenting views. Or he was too busy writing his book, undoubtedly with a large advance, as payment for services rendered against President Trump.
Dr Fauci’s virus origin coverup gave the WHO and CDC an excuse to not press the Chinese to allow infectious disease experts to visit and investigate the lab, leaving the Chinese government to shape the narrative, destroy incriminating evidence, and escape any responsibility or accountability.
Also covered up, now known through the email release, is Dr Fauci overestimating COVID mortality by a factor of 10. This number drove lockdowns, school and business closures, wrecking the US economy and the lives of so many Americans.
Dr Fauci also downplayed masks privately while pushing them publicly, from none to one to two then back to one. In February 2020 he admitted in an email,
Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection.
The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through material. It might, however, provide some slight benefit in keep out gross droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you.
Privately he acknowledged what was well known in public health, but publicly he terrorized the US population to the point that fully vaccinated Americans are now afraid to leave their house without two masks and goggles.
Asymptomatic spread, rare in viral illnesses, was another one of Dr Fauci’s pronouncements, leading to countless bankrupted businesses and restaurants, closed schools, and distancing rules. Did he believe what he said? In a February 2000 email, he said otherwise, “most transmissions occur from someone who is symptomatic, not asymptomatic.”
Why did he publicly say what he didn’t believe privately, leaving a swath of destruction in the wake of his misstatements?
Dr Fauci and the insiders knew the truth but chose not to be forthcoming and share it with the people. Instead, they used it as fear porn, hollering about ventilator and ICU bed shortages, leading some governors to send infected patients into nursing home killing fields. One might borrow a popular Democrat phrase from the Bush era, “Fauci lied, people died”.
Such asymptomatic spread was the basis of mail-in voting, and we all know how that turned out. Was that part of the big plan? How convenient.
We will learn more in the days ahead and may find that Dr Fauci’s public pronouncements were far different than what he privately believed and expressed. Imagine how the pandemic would have played out with more honesty from those authority figures leading the American response?
What about the next viral pandemic? According to Rasmussen Reports, 68% of likely US voters believe the Fauci Flu originated in a Chinese lab. One can infer that two-thirds of Americans don’t buy what the government is selling, the narrative from Dr Fauci and others.
When the next virus comes calling, as in the first case of a new strain of Chinese bird flu, and if it’s far more lethal than COVID, will the public heed the words of the next generation of Dr Fauci’s? Or is their credibility blown, like the boy who cried wolf?
If COVID had been treated as any other viral pandemic, without the crushing mandates and regulations which destroyed the US economy and many people’s lives, life in America today might be far different. Was this ever about the virus or about a presidential election, and framing the narrative to defeat Donald Trump regardless of the downstream consequences?
What better way to memorialize Dr Fauci’s role in this pandemic than by renaming the virus the “Fauci Flu.”
UPDATED 5:20 PM PT – Friday, June 4, 2021
The White House has continued to defend Dr. Anthony Fauci even as concern grows over his alleged mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic. During Friday’s briefing, Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked about former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s comments regarding the National Institutes of Health.
Psaki was asked if the administration is concerned there may be individuals at the NIH that influenced policy based on their personal beliefs. She refused to answer the question and said the White House would not fire Fauci under “any circumstance”, even though his emails show inconsistencies.
Psaki also praised Fauci for his work and claimed everybody wants to get to the bottom of where the pandemic originated, regardless of what party they belong to.
Fauci’s emails have sparked controversy after comments he had made were released. Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) questioned Fauci on the restrictions imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Republican later said, “we’ve literally just wrecked the greatest economy in the history of the world because Anthony Fauci wanted to be on the over of magazines.”
George Floyd’s Brother Ends $14.7 Million GoFundMe Memorial Account… One Day Before Release Of 3-Month Old Toxicology Report Revealing Floyd Died Of Overdose
Two days after George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis, MN, his brother, Philonise Floyd started a GoFundMe account to raise money for his estate and for grief counseling.
The GoFundMe description, written by Philonise also mentions that the funds they collect will help to cover the costs of a funeral.
George was buried in a gold casket and placed in a mausoleum as part of his elaborate funeral.
Retired professional boxer Floyd Mayweather donated $88,500 to cover the costs of George Floyd’s funeral.
The GoFundMe campaign for George Floyd ended one day before the toxicology report was made public by the MN prosecution revealing the cause of George Floyd’s death was a fentanyl overdose.
On May 25, 2020, my life shattered as I learned of the tragic passing of my dear brother, George.
My family and I watched in absolute horror as the now infamous and horrifying video began to spread quickly throughout social media. What we saw on that tape left us shell shocked; a white Minneapolis police officer kneeling directly on my brother’s neck, obstructing his ability to breathe.
As some officers knelt on his neck, other officers participated and watched; no one took any action to save my brother’s life. Those officers would continue to brutalize my brother until he died.
This fund is established to cover funeral and burial expenses, mental and grief counseling, lodging and travel for all court proceedings, and to assist our family in the days to come as we continue to seek justice for George. A portion of these funds will also go to the Estate of George Floyd for the benefit and care of his children and their educational fund.
The GoFundMe memorial account for George Floyd was turned off, but not before the family collected a stunning $14,723,100.
Before shutting down the GoFundMe account, Philonise Floyd thanked everyone who donated, explaining that two new funds have been set up in his brother’s name.
Some exciting news to share with you all: The family has established two great foundations that will give back to the many communities touched by George:
The George Floyd Memorial Foundation, Inc. (based in NC) and the George Floyd Foundation (based in TX). We hope that you would join with us as we continue to support the communities that need our support the most and to continue to preach to the world that #BlackLivesMatter.
There is no mention of how the $14.7 million will be spent or where future funds from the two new memorial foundations will be distributed.
In the GoFundMe section of “commonly asked questions,” Philonise explains in question #4, that the money will be used for the family’s benefit. In #5, Philonise Floyd clarifies that 100% of the funds collected here will go to my family.
4. How the funds will be spent? Funds collected here will be spent by the Floyd family as outlined above. This fund will be governed and controlled at the discretion of Philonise Floyd for the family’s benefit.
5. How do you intend to get the funds to those in need? All funds collected on this website will be withdrawn to an established account for the benefit of my family. 100% of funds collected here will go to my family.
Nothing could have prepared America for the violence that spread across our nation as a result of the death of George Floyd after MN Police Officer Derek Chauvin was caught on video kneeling on Floyd’s neck during an arrest.
It’s now being reported that the toxicology report from May 31, 2020, shows George Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose and the prosecution is being accused of waiting 3 months to make the report public.
The explosive exculpatory June 1 memorandum was not released by the prosecution until August 25, 2020.
On May 29, 2020, MN Police Officer Derek Chauvin was charged with 3rd-degree murder. Minnesota’s radical Democrat AG Keith Ellison later upped Chauvin’s charge to 2nd-degree murder. Former MN Police Officers Thomas Lane, J. Alexander Kueng, and Tou Thao were also charged with aiding and abetting the murder of Floyd.
Spectator reports – These charges were based on the autopsy performed by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office and a private “re-autopsy” performed at the request of the Floyd family’s attorney. Based on those procedures, the medical examiner issued a revised autopsy report stating that Floyd had died of “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint and neck compression.” In short, Floyd’s death was allegedly caused by the manner in which the police had restrained him.
But the police defendants were charged before the medical examiner had received the report of Floyd’s toxicology screen by NMS Labs of Horsham, Pennsylvania.
Then, on May 31, 2020, NMS Labs forwarded Floyd’s toxicology report to the Hennepin County Medical Examiners’ Office.
Big League Politics reports – A summary of a conversation between Amy Sweasy, a Hennepin County Attorney, and Dr. Andrew Baker, the chief medical examiner for the county, reveals that the former would conclude George Floyd died of a drug overdose if there were no other contributing factors.
The medical examiner makes the conclusion of an overdose death on the basis of blood samples collected from George Floyd at a Minneapolis hospital.
Dr. Baker reveals that Floyd’s blood tested positive for the presence of 4ANPP, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and norfentayl. He described the level of fentanyl found in George Floyd’s bloodstream as a “fatal level under normal circumstances.”
At 7:30 p.m. on May 31, 2020, prosecutors “met” online with Dr. Andrew Baker, Chief Medical Examiner of Hennepin County, to discuss Floyd’s toxicology report.
June 1, 2020, memorandum by Assistant County Attorney Amy Sweasy was finally released on August 25, 2020.
Why did the prosecution wait 3 MONTHS to release this memorandum?
So there they were, staring at the just-received and damning toxicology report that blew to smithereens the whole prosecution theory that the police had killed Floyd. To their undoubted dismay, Dr. Baker, the chief medical examiner, had to concede that at 11 ng/mL, Floyd had “a fatal level of fentanyl under normal circumstances.” He also conceded that the fentanyl overdose “can cause pulmonary edema,” a frothy fluid build-up in the lungs that was evidenced by the finding at autopsy that Floyd’s lungs weighed two to three times normal weight.
In other words, like a drowned man, Floyd’s lungs were filled with fluid. And that was the obvious and inescapable reason why Floyd kept shouting over and over again that he couldn’t breathe even when he was upright and mobile.
The memorandum ends with Dr. Baker’s devastating conclusion that “if Floyd had been found dead in his home (or anywhere else) and there were no other contributing factors he [Dr. Baker] would conclude that it was an overdose death.”
Translation: this toxicology report drives a stake through the heart of our murder case. How do we justify criminally charging these police officers and explain away our colossal screw-up?
We cannot confirm the reason for the conclusion of the fundraiser for George Floyd on GoFundMe. According to the Daily Dot, GoFundMe does not place limits on the amount of time the fundraiser can remain active on its platform. Both Kickstarter and Indiegogo have a 60-day limit on the length of campaigns. For charity campaigns to cover medical fees or funeral costs, GoFundMe’s unlimited length is invaluable, and its slightly lower fees can really add up.
We’re not saying that Philonise Floyd intentionally ended his GoFundMe campaign on the day before the release of the toxicology report to the public, but it certainly can’t be ruled it out.
America is at war… we just don’t know it because the Chinese-controlled propaganda media doesn’t want it reported. First, gasoline for the East Coast was attacked, now it’s beef (and the next bird flu).
Sunday’s cyberattack on JBS comes just weeks after ransomware hackers shut down the Colonial Pipeline, creating gas lines and shortages.
One-fifth of US beef production was wiped out after JBS paused processing at five of its biggest beef plants which manage a total of 22,500 cattle per day.
NBC News reported:
JBS, one of the world’s largest international meat processors, was hacked Sunday, the company said in an email, forcing the company to take systems offline and stop work in North America and Australia.
The company maintains 11 beef processing facilities in Australia and 26 chicken processing plants in the U.S.
At least six JBS locations in the U.S. posted on their respective Facebook pages for workers to not come in Tuesday, an NBC review of their posts found.
One such post, from JBS’s beef processing plant in Grand Island, Nebraska, wrote: “Team member: This weekend our company was the target of a cyberattack that has impacted our IT systems. As a result, we will not operate tomorrow. ONLY MAINTENANCE AND SHIPPING ARE SCHEDULED TO WORK.”
White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters the hackers are likely based in Russia – *eyeroll*
“The White House has offered assistance to JBS, and our team, and the Department of Agriculture, have spoken to their leadership several times in the last day,” Jean-Pierre said. “JBS notified the administration that the ransom demand came from a criminal organization, likely based in Russia. The White House is engaging directly with the Russian government on this matter, and delivering the message that responsible states do not harbor ransomware criminals.”
Interesting how hackers are focusing on the two industries under attack by the Biden Admin and the Marxist left: Oil and meat.
JBS USA, the largest global meat producer, shut down processing at its five biggest beef plants in the United States after a cyberattack this weekend, and it’s unclear when they’ll be back up and running. This attack will probably affect production globally, as well.
In the meantime, shoppers may want to brace themselves for yet another possible supply shortage, this time with meat. Does fallout from the attack mean a tighter meat supply ahead, and as a result, higher prices? That depends on how quickly the issue is resolved, according to experts. “Even one day of disruption will significantly impact the beef market and wholesale beef prices,” Steiner Consulting Group, which specializes in commodity prices, wrote in a note Tuesday.
“The attack could also limit pork supply availability and push up pork prices in the near term,” Steiner said. The group noted that “we think this is a major issue but much will depend on how long the disruption persists.”
“Retailers and beef processors are coming off a long weekend and need to catch up with orders and make sure to fill the meat case. If they suddenly get a call saying that product may not deliver tomorrow or this week, it will create very significant challenges,” Steiner explained.
Karine Jean-Pierre, White House principal deputy press secretary, told reporters aboard Air Force One that JBS USA told the White House a “criminal organization likely based in Russia” was responsible for the attack. “The White House is engaging directly with the Russian government on this matter and delivering the message that responsible states do not harbor ransomware criminals,” Jean-Pierre added.
The attack came a little over three weeks after Colonial Pipeline suffered a cyberattack that shut down operations and created an oil shortage on the East Coast. Reports said Sunday’s attack on JBS USA impacted servers that support North American and Australian IT systems, prompting the suspension of all affected systems.
JBS USA said in a statement that the backup servers were not affected by the attack and the company is working with an Incident Response firm to restore systems as soon as possible. “Resolution of the incident will take time, which may delay certain transactions with customers and suppliers,” the statement added.
The cyberattack on JBS prompted reminders of the recent attack on Colonial Pipeline. Also believed to be the work of a group of Russian hackers, it prompted the shutdown of the 5,500-mile pipeline. Running from the Gulf Coast to New Jersey, the pipeline is key in moving oil across the country and the shutdown caused runs on gas and shortages.
Outages continued for about a week before Colonial Pipeline was able to resume operations and the company drew criticism for reportedly paying $5 million in ransom. Paying that sum may have emboldened hackers to strike bigger targets, former senior Department of Homeland Security official Paul Rosenzweig, told USA Today. “So long as the internet is a place of anonymity, the criminals will be able to act with impunity,” Rosenzweig added. “And why would they stop?”
Alexandra Jaffe, a reporter of the Associated Press, noted on twitter that the FBI is investigating and the U.S. Department of Agriculture was reaching out to major meat processors in the United States.
Before the pandemic, Americans might have been shocked by the idea of a meat shortage. But the last year exposed the limitation of the country’s meat supply chain, which is highly concentrated among a handful of suppliers, including JBS USA. Early in the pandemic, workers got sick at crowded meatpacking facilities, leading plants to temporarily close their doors. The disruption caused prices to soar and led to spot shortages.
Dr. Anthony Fauci corresponded with a Chinese health official early in the pandemic, acknowledging the “crazy people in this world” and vowing to “get through this together,” a new report revealed Tuesday.
The nation’s top expert on infectious diseases received an email March 28, 2020, from George Gao, director of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, in which Gao apologized for saying the US and other countries were making a “big mistake” by not encouraging people to wear masks from the get-go, according to correspondence obtained by the Washington Post.
“How could I say such a word ‘big mistake’ about others? That was journalist’s wording. Hope you understand,” Gao wrote Fauci. “Lets work together to get the virus out of the earth.”
The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases responded, “I understand completely. No problem. We will get through this together.”
The correspondence came as President Donald Trump blamed China for the coronavirus outbreak.
As Fauci faced criticism for his handling of the pandemic, Gao reached out again.
“I saw some news (hope it is fake) that [you] are being attacked by some people. Hope you are well under such a irrational situation,” Gao wrote April 8, 2020.
Three days later, Fauci replied and thanked his longtime friend for his “kind note.”
“All is well despite some crazy people in this world,” Fauci wrote, the newspaper reported.
The exchange was among more than 866 pages of Fauci’s emails from March and April 2020 that the newspaper obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.
In the email trove, Fauci also corresponded with an executive at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a medical director of the National Football League Players Association and documentary filmmakers working on a Disney-backed documentary film about him.
In his correspondence with Gates adviser Emilio Emini, the executive raised concerns about Fauci’s health.
“I see you on TV almost every day, and although you continue to have considerable energy, I am seriously worried about you,” Emini wrote in an email on April 2, 2020. “The nation and the world absolutely need your leadership.”
Fauci then responded in the early hours of the following morning, saying “I will try to engage as much as I can given my current circumstances,” while adding he was “enthusiastic about moving forward on a collaborative and hopefully synergistic approach to COVID-19.”
Fauci told the Washington Post that he has maintained a long relationship with Gates, who has been the subject of recent reports that reveal that he allegedly made unwanted advances on female employees at both Microsoft and his foundation.
The two talk about every two weeks and remain in touch about how to get COVID-19 vaccines to the rest of the world, he said.
The email trove also revealed that Fauci kept in close contact with White House officials over the two-month period, the newspaper reported.
Just before Easter, he exchanged emails with Marc Short, Vice President Mike Pence’s chief of staff — where he wished Short a “peaceful and enjoyable day with your family.”
Fauci, however, would later publicly complain in June that the White House had sidelined him.
“As you probably noticed, the taskforce meetings have not occurred as often lately. And certainly, my meetings with the president have been dramatically decreased,” he said in an interview with Strat News in June 2020.
Fauci also expressed dumbfounded disbelief at the public’s fascination with him.
In response to an article forwarded to him about his “cult following,” he replied that it was “truly surreal.”
“Hopefully, this all stops soon,” Fauci wrote to a colleague.
In another email, Fauci forwarded a Google alert notification for his name that contained an article titled, “Cuomo Crush and ‘Fauci Fever’ — Sexualization of These Men Is a Real Thing on the Internet.”
“It will blow your mind. Our society is really totally nuts,” Fauci wrote in an email to a redacted recipient, encouraging them to click the link to the article.
Fauci told the newspaper that at one point during the pandemic he was receiving around 1,000 emails a day.
“I was getting every single kind of question, mostly people who were a little bit confused about the mixed messages that were coming out of the White House and wanted to know what’s the real scoop,” Fauci said of the correspondence.
“I have a reputation that I respond to people when they ask for help, even if it takes a long time. And it’s very time consuming, but I do,” he added.
The cultural collapse of America accelerates as Democrat-run cities are plunged into crime, corruption and FILTH
The quote of the day comes from a Greenwich Village resident commenting on the “drug den” infestation of heroin-addicted lunatics who have taken over the progressive Manhattan area, turning it into a trashed-out insanity zone. Here’s the quote: “We may be liberal but this has gone too far!”
Another neighbor offered up a similarly entertaining quote about the situation, lamenting, “The zombies are now near the fountain…”
This is all documented in this NY Post story that describes the rapid collapse of liberal areas in America’s Democrat-run cities. Thanks to truly insane, stupid policies on the part of Democrats — such as legalizing shoplifting and defunding police — once-great cities across America are now collapsing into filthy crapholes (San Franshitsco, anyone?).
This is all part of the accelerating cultural and civil collapse now plaguing America, and it’s only getting worse under “progressive” programs like Universal Basic Income — i.e. paying people to stay home and not contribute anything useful to society.
“Woke” Pentagon soldiers share nuclear secrets in a public flash card app
It’s not just insanity, but also sheer stupidity that has taken over America’s culture, too. Now, U.S. soldiers trying to bone up on national security details involving the storage of nuclear material have been caught using public online flash card apps to help memorize all those details.
Stupidly, they entered passwords, locations, security protocols and much more into an online flash card app, allowing anyone to search their flash cards via Google. This was all reported by The Daily Mail UK, and it shows that even the very people responsible for safeguarding America’s nuclear arsenal are complete morons. Comparisons to Idiocracy are impossible to avoid here… is this the new “woke” LGBT military hard at work? Is the military now more concerned about recruiting lesbians and transgenders than safeguarding national nuclear secrets? Seems so…
Today’s Situation Update podcast (see below) also covers tech news, including the shocking piece of breaking news that Tesla vehicles will now start spying on Tesla drivers with in-cabin video cameras, making sure drivers are paying attention to the road when they invoke self-driving features. So now your own car is spying on you. This was all initiated because Tesla-owning morons have been activating auto-pilot while leaving the driver’s seat and joining other passengers in the rear of the vehicle, while hurtling down the interstate with no driver at all. No doubt these are some of the same suicidal lunatics lining up to be injected with covid-19 spike proteins that are mislabeled “vaccines.”
Meanwhile, Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger said over the weekend that the microchip supply shortage will continue for at least a few more years. He didn’t really explain the correct reason for this, but at least he’s admitting the global semiconductor supply situation is in shambles. (Hint: The highly complex global economy is breaking down by the day…)
Democrats are dropping off crates of full-auto weapons in gang neighborhoods to keep “gun crime” going strong
In other culture news, an ex-gang member explains that Democrats are dropping off crates of full-auto firearms in gang-infested cities in order to add to the gun violence and push for more gun control. They’re literally distributing full-auto weapons all over America, putting them into the hands of gangsters and violent criminals. Sounds a lot like Operation Fast & Furious, doesn’t it? That was a Barack Obama / Eric Holder special. See this ex-gang member’s video here:
In economic news, the US Mint is now delaying silver shipments because of a global silver shortage which is also strongly impacting the semiconductor industry. Suddenly, everything is in short supply, even while “money” is now free thanks to endless stimulus blowouts that are flooding the streets with money even faster than Democrats can flood the streets with guns.
Rent is soaring across America, and according to a Zero Hedge article, “58% of all houses sell within two weeks of listing, of which 45% sell for more than their listing price, also a record.”
People are snapping up rural homes like crazy, trying to flee the collapsing craphole cities run by insane Demonrats. Meanwhile, “the zombies are now near the fountain” has become the perfect metaphor for the total ruination of civilization that’s being pursued by lunatic Leftists who destroy everything they touch.
Hear all the jaw-dropping details in today’s full podcast:
The White House Tuesday said that the cyberattack affecting meatpacking firm JBS Foods’ systems appeared to originate in Russia and said the administration is offering assistance.
“JBS notified the administration that the ransom demand came from a criminal organization, likely based in Russia,” White House principal deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters, adding that the Biden administration is “engaging directly” with Moscow and has sent a “message that responsible states do not harbor ransomware criminals.”
On Monday, JBS confirmed in a release that it was hit with a cybersecurity attack. The firm’s servers in Australia and North America were impacted during the incident.
“The company’s backup servers were not affected, and it is actively working with an Incident Response firm to restore its systems as soon as possible,” said the statement, which added the Brazil-based company is “not aware” of any employee, customer, or supplier data that was obtained or breached.
The FBI is investigating the cyberattack, while the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is providing technical support, Jean-Pierre said.
“The White House has offered assistance to JBS, and our team and the Department of Agriculture have spoken to their leadership several times in the last day,” Jean-Pierre added to reporters. “We’re assessing any impacts on supply, and the president has directed the administration to determine what we can do to mitigate any impacts as they may become necessary,” Jean-Pierre said, according to The Hill.
“June 1 there will be no 1&2 harvest and no 1&2 bacon slicing. All other departments will start at regular times,” said a Facebook post from the JBS pork plant in Ottumwa, Iowa.
According to the plant in Cactus, Texas, “We will not operate tomorrow. Buses will not run. ONLY MAINTENANCE, MATERIAL HANDLING, and FREEZERS ARE SCHEDULED TO WORK. Orientation for 6/1 is also canceled.”
Because of the outages, nearly one-fifth of U.S. beef production has been halted, according to Bloomberg. JBS Foods is the No. 1 producer of beef in the country, while rival firm Tyson Foods is No. 2, the report said.
Scott Payne, a spokesman for United Food and Commercial Workers Canada Union Local 401, told Bloomberg News on Tuesday that a plant in Brooks, Alberta, in Canada, was shut down. “Effectively the plant’s operations have shut for the day,” he said.
Last month, Colonial Pipeline, a major fuel transporting system along the U.S. East Coast, was breached via a ransomware attack that FBI officials believe originated in Russia and Eastern Europe. The pipeline was down for approximately a week, prompting a spike in gas prices as well as fuel shortages in several southeastern states.
This is the first in a two-part series on the overreach of Governor Jay Inslee and what can only be called a far-left Democrat legislature this year, and the blow back they are already beginning to see which could lead to a shellacking, rivalling the one Democrats took at the ballot box in 1994.
It’s a history worth remembering, especially since there are not whole lot of first-hand observers still involved in local politics (or media). Back in 1994, local elections were heavily influenced by the national Republican surge that took place during the first midterm election of President Bill “I did not have sex with that woman” Clinton. The Republican wave, led by soon-to-be Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and his “Contract with America”, washed away the Democrats’ U.S. House and Senate majorities, as voters across the nation rejected the tax-raising and big-government policies that were pushed in the first two years of the allegedly moderate Clinton administration.
The Washington State delegation to D.C. was a poster child for the liberal wipeout, as Spokane Democrat Tom Foley became the first House Speaker to be defeated for re-election since 1862, along with another five of his in-state colleagues, including first-term representatives Maria Cantwell and Jay Inslee. Unfortunately for most of us, the latter two continue to plague our state’s politics, while Foley never ran for office again.
At the state level, Republicans saw their House minority status swing to the majority overnight, adding 26 seats and taking control of the Washington State House by a margin of 58-40. Republicans followed the House takeover with one of the state Senate two years later, though not by such a dramatic margin (at 26-23). This, incidentally, began a two-year period of Republicans majorities in both the Washington Senate and the House for the only time since Ronald Reagan was in his first term.
Political observers pointed out then that the significant swing in the electorate was caused by the overreach by both national and Washington State Democrats, who had campaigned as tax-averse moderates in ’92, then spent two years jamming through tax increases, creating new government agencies, passing gun control, and attempting a government takeover of health care.
National Republicans subsequently went on to pass all but one of the promises in the Contract with America, including a capital gains tax cut, welfare reform, and a zero-based budget which cut federal spending and led to the first balanced federal budgets in memory.
Fast forward to 2021, and the landscape looks eerily familiar to 1993. Democrats arrogantly control the Washington House, Senate and Governor’s mansion, and are using the cover of a pandemic to frantically pass a wish list of radical, far-left ideas which have been rejected for years by more sensible elected officials. Almost with no regard for the economic consequences, and seemingly oblivious to the growing anger of the electorate, Democrats have gone too far.
Just as they did in 1993, Democrats have passed a massive package of tax increases, including two energy taxes and a state income tax on capital gains, which are allegedly focused at the “polluters” and the “rich”, but will quickly reach into the pockets of just about everyone in the state.
On the liberal social engineering front, Democrats pushed radical left ideas on defunding the police, critical race theory, allowing felons to vote without completing their sentences, legalizing hard drugs like heroin, and injected government oversight into even more aspects of our daily lives. Democrats even attempted to ban gas-powered cars starting in 2030.
And don’t get us started on masks and banning outdoor fishing in the name of “flattening the curve”.
On gun control, Democrats passed bans on open carry around state-owned property, and they have only just started. Seemingly most Democrat legislators want to see mandatory gun registration, rifle bans, and more restrictions on when and how you can purchase a gun.
Just like the election in 1994 showed, Washington State voters can react quickly to roll back far-Left Democrat agendas they did not vote for. State voters can assure that this won’t end well for the so-called “moderate” Democrats who went along for the ride this year, and Republicans seem poised to retake control of the House and Senate.
In the second part of our series, we’ll be looking at the positions of the vulnerable Democrats in legislative districts where incumbents are not living up to their campaign promises to not legislate like Seattle liberals.
Fox News’s Tucker Carlson railed at President Joe Biden for saying that kids as young as eight years old can be transgender during his opening monologue on Tuesday.
To begin, Carlson noted that just a decade or so ago, “gender dysphoria was a fairly short entry in abnormal psychology textbooks,” adding that few people knew much about it. But in recent years, the condition appears to have become much more prevalent among younger Americans, especially elementary and high school students.
While many kids claim to be gender dysphoric, Carlson said that most of them will “grow out of” their current “phase.” However, many others will be encouraged to act on their emotions by undergoing hormone therapy and even genitalia and sexual organ surgery.
“That is happening across the country. We rarely talk about the details of any of it. It’s all good, we’re told. It’s all part of a vital, long-overdue process of personal liberation, and if you stand in the way or ask too many questions, you’re evil,” Carlson said. “Okay.

“But before we accept that version of the story, it’s fair to ask: what are the details of the process, exactly? And what are the consequences of it?” he asked.
Carlson went on to pay compliments to veteran “60 Minutes” journalist Leslie Stahl, who did a lengthy segment on the issue which was broadcast on Sunday. In it, she spoke with a number of kids who were persuaded to act on their perceived gender dysphoria by therapists, counselors, and doctors.
The host played several clips of the 60 Minutes segment featuring Stahl’s interviews with those teens. Many underwent hormone replacement therapy while others also underwent surgical procedures. At the end of it all, several of them reported having more psychological difficulty dealing with their new gender than before they had their procedures.
“Three months to castration. And then, a week after the surgery, he was suicidal,” Carlson said of one of the teens interviewed by Stahl. “Now, that makes sense, and yet it is the precise opposite of what activists claim. The opposite of the justification for these procedures in the first place.”
“Gender reassignment surgery and chemical castration cause depression and exacerbate mental illness. This is known. Just five years ago, a study by the Obama administration found no positive health benefits from this kind of so-called treatment,” he added, pointing to studies published during the 44th president’s tenure.
He went on to note that a similar study by Swedish researchers found that young people who have gender reassignment surgery were 19 percent more likely to commit suicide.
“Yet strikingly, most Americans are not aware of these numbers. They’ve never seen this research. They’re not allowed to see it. Instead, they see a daily barrage of propaganda, most of it online, made possible by Google and Facebook. That propaganda has a very specific effect, as intended,” said the host.
Carlson then played another clip of Stahl interviewing a doctor who claimed that many in her field are afraid to speak out against allowing youngsters who seek gender treatments because they will be chastised as being anti-transgender.
“We’re afraid to speak up because we don’t want to be seen as not affirming young people in their decision to have these surgeries and to take these life-altering drugs,” Carlson said, adding: “How ‘young’ are we talking about? At what age do we have to respect their decision to undergo chemical castration?”
He then played a clip of Biden being asked about it during a campaign town hall last year in which the future president voiced his approval for children as young as eight getting surgery and gender treatment.
“The idea that an eight-year-old child or a 10-year-old child decides, ‘You know, I decided I want to be transgender. That’s what I think I’d like to be. It would make my life a lot easier.’ There should be zero discrimination,” Biden responded.
“Things are moving fast, and most people have no idea what the details are,” Carlson said.
“Why don’t you just drop dead, you neo-nazi enabler”
I’m all for this. I’m sick to death of leftists being allowed to spew this kind of venom with no consequences.
The College Fix reports:
Student calls for probe of Columbia prof who called him ‘Neo-nazi,’ told him to ‘drop dead’ for defending Trump
A Baruch College student is calling for an investigation into a Columbia University politics professor who called him a “Neo-nazi murderer lover” and told him to “drop dead.”
In April, Gabriel Montalvo, a student at Queensborough Community College at the time, took to Facebook to comment on a political cartoon critical of President Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus epidemic.
“People choose what they want to see and everyone has an opinion,” Montalvo wrote in response to the cartoon. He also noted it wasn’t helpful that media outlets had been using footage of crowded Italian hospitals to criticize Trump for America’s coronavirus problems.
He soon received a response from Columbia Professor Jeffrey Lax, who accused Trump of “murdering his own people through lies and actively horrible choices.”
From there, the conversation devolved, with Lax defending House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for ripping up Trump’s “racist bullshit speech” in 2020.
“Why don’t you just drop dead, you neo-nazi enabler,” Lax told Montalvo.
“How ironic that the most educated person on this thread is also the most incompetent who results in playground insults,” Montalvo answered. “Rather than having a discussion you would rather me die? Aren’t you a political science educator? I could only hope that the students who take your course get a refund.”
Lax replied by calling Montalvo a “Neo-nazi murderer lover.” He later blocked Montalvo on Facebook.
